Ashley Richmond

Ashley (“Warner”) Richmond was a well-known Left-Handed Berks County Softball Pitcher for Governor Mifflin School District from 2002-2006, played all over the United States with the Berkshire Bobcats Travel Team and played in College at Penn State University. Ashley started learning to pitch when she was 8 years old from her mother who was a County Championship Pitcher for Governor Mifflin School District as well. During Ashley’s pitching career, she was named All Division, All District, NCAA Player of the week, Most Valuable Pitcher with the Berkshire Bobcats, won the Sheila Ridley award for Penn State Berks, and granted the Female Athlete MVP for her High School. She then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Since graduation she has coached Softball at the High School and Middle School levels and a few of her players have been offered College Scholarships as well. Ashley has 6 different pitches she can throw and can teach your daughter as they progress. (Fastball, Change-Up, Drop, Drop-Curve, Curve, Rise) Ashley firmly believes the younger a girl starts pitching the better she will become as she gets older and keeps taking lessons. As the girls get older and more accurate Ashley will help them gain more speed with their pitch as well as learn the different pitches to throw. Ashley knows how to keep it fun but also keep the girls focused and on the right path to success for the position she has grown to love and teach.
